late week with areas of Moderate HeatRisk developing late this
week into the weekend.

* Monday:
- Near to below normal temps today with upper 80s to mid 90s
expected and breezy southwest winds in the afternoon, strongest
across the Delta.
*Tuesday-Friday:
- Gradual warming and drying trend expected mid to late week as
Desert Southwest ridging amplifies.
- Periodically breezy onshore flow looks to continue as split
flow aloft persists over interior NorCal.
- High temperatures trend slightly above normal by the end of the
week, with 90s to lower triple digits through the Valley,
Delta, and foothills resulting in areas of Moderate HeatRisk by
Friday into the weekend.
